In order to better understand what integrative medicine is, let's first look at what it's not:
What Integrative Medicine is NOT:
It's not just about foregoing traditional medication management practices and only recommending vitamins and supplements in place of psychiatric prescriptions.
What Integrative Medicine IS: According to Cleveland Clinic, "Integrative medicine uses an evidence-based approach to treat the whole person—mind, body, and soul. It addresses your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs through a combination of conventional and complementary therapies to achieve optimal health and healing" (Cleveland Clinic, 2022).
Think of integrative medicine as comprehensive care. It includes all the regular treatments you’d receive from a mental health professional while also addressing your needs through a biopsychosocial lens, combining both conventional medications and holistic therapies.

Currently, Mind Path Mental Health, PLLC operates on a cash-pay basis only and does not currently accept insurance plans.
As this dream of mine continues to grow, I promise I will continue to re-evaluate the interest for insurance paneling on a regular basis.
My priority is to ensure high-quality care without the constraints of insurance limitations, allowing us to focus solely on your well-being.

Certainly!
I prescribe stimulants when deemed medically suitable as a component of a thorough treatment strategy. Each prescription is formulated following a meticulous assessment with the goal of attaining optimal results while ensuring diligent supervision to maintain safety and efficacy.
I am willing to prescribe benzodiazepines when clinically justified. However, I believe in utilizing these medications for short durations to address acute instances of intense anxiety or panic, such as occasional air travel. I am cautious about using benzodiazepines for long-term chronic stress and favor exploring non-controlled substance treatment options to reduce overall anxiety levels.
I do not prescribe any opioids or narcotics in my practice. -

Not all supplements are created equal. It's crucial to choose supplements vetted by third-party organizations like Labdoor or Consumer Labs to ensure their quality. To help with this, our electronic health records are integrated with Fullscripts, allowing patients to order high-quality vitamins and supplements directly. Ask me how you can get a discount on your supplements by ordering through Fullscripts
